Tennessee

In the heart of the wild

Where the mountains stand tall

Where flowing creeks whisper

My hearts call

Where mama bears watch

As their cubs roam free

Deer grace the meadows

A tranquil decree

Birds of the sunrise

Serenade the dawn

Morning doves sing

their lonesome songs

Wildflowers dance

In the afternoon sun

And glorify the valleys

Till the day is done

This is the realm

Where freedom finds its name

Where my hearts call echoes

Wild untamed

Wrapped in the beauty

of Creator’s embrace

In the whisper of the wind

I find my place

In the mountains

And the valleys

Among each and every tree

The place where I belong

Is Tennessee.
