“Wild & Graceful Lessons From the Quiet Season” How Faith, Simplicity, and Real Estate Still Belong Together for My Life.

For as long as I’ve been a real estate agent, my passion hasn’t been about becoming a millionaire or the biggest name on a billboard. My heart has always been to help people, especially those who feel stuck in renting, discover the stability and wealth-building potential that comes with homeownership. It’s about giving families the chance to root themselves, grow equity, and create a sense of place that renting often doesn’t provide.

But the past few years have been difficult. Rising interest rates, higher home prices, and industry changes made the process more frustrating for buyers and sellers alike. Many of my past clients and contacts were simply waiting it out. At the same time, I wasn’t marketing myself much, relying instead on faith that God would provide at the right time. And while He always did, the slow seasons left me questioning everything, my career, my purpose, even whether real estate was still where I belonged.

Yet in the quiet, God was still working. When income dropped, He made a way. When I felt directionless, I found grounding in simple things, time in the sun, feet in the grass, and gratitude for what I had instead of worry for what I didn’t. My relationships with family deepened. Friendships became richer. My appreciation for the beauty of simple, rustic living grew stronger. More grounded than ever in what really matters.

That’s where Wild & Graceful Living was born, not as a replacement for real estate, but as an extension of the same heart. An outlet for my creativity and to process my journey out loud. A way to share encouragement, to celebrate the ordinary blessings, and to remind myself (and others) that life can still be rooted, beautiful, and full of meaning even when circumstances are uncertain.

So I find myself at a crossroads. Real estate will always be part of my story, but Wild & Graceful Living is too. They’re not identical, but they overlap in the ways that matter most: helping people create stability, beauty, and peace in their lives and homes. Maybe that looks like buying a house. Maybe it looks like finding a rhythm of gratitude in the middle of chaos. Maybe it’s just sitting together on the porch and talking it through.

For now, I’m leaning into both callings. If you’re looking for clarity about your options or next move in real estate, about creating a home you love, or about how to walk a little more gracefully through whatever season of life you’re in, I’d love to connect. Sometimes all it takes is a conversation to find your next step.
